Ons is opgewonde oor die Zoom gesprekke wat gaan plaasvind ter viering van hierdie jaar se Augustus Maand van Kuns te Welgemeend.

Dit is jammer dat ‘n fisiese uitstalling nie soos in vorige jare moontlik is nie, maar die aanlyn-gesprekke wat onderskeidelik elke Donderdagmiddag in Augustus gaan plaasvind belowe om, wat inhoud en aanbieding aanbetref, uit die boonste rakke te wees.

Welgemeend, a property since 1693, is one of the three oldest surviving Table Valley homesteads in the city. Today it is an arts and cultural centre, housing the art collection and library of the well-known South African poet and author, Boerneef.  Strauss & Co Art Cataloguer, Dr. Gera de Villiers, discusses the history and legacy of Welgemeend and the families who lived there.
