Dominic Daula is a distinguished Lecturer in Musicology at Rhodes University, where he explores the intricate relationships between music, culture, and history.
With a strong background as a pianist and harpsichordist, he brings a unique perspective to his teaching and research. Earlier this year, he captivated audiences with a lecture recital on J.S. Bach’s “Goldberg Variations” at the University of Cape Town’s Summer School, demonstrating his deep understanding of classical music and its enduring relevance.
As part of the Welgemeend Art Month programme, Dominic will present the above lecture recital in the context of our exhibition theme and emphasise “In en Om Ons | In and Around Us“.
