Art Basel 2025: What happens at ArtBasel… does not stay in Basel
In June this year, Lizelle Kilbourn and Kirsty Colledge attended the opening of Art Basel 2025, in Basel, Switzerland; arguably the world’s most important art fair. With 289 leading galleries from 42 countries and an attendance of over 88,000 visitors, the fair offered an extraordinary showcase of artistic innovation, from museum-quality masterpieces to bold new voices in contemporary art.
Lizelle and Kirsty will share photos of selected artworks and discuss the highlights of their experience – from booth-hopping at Art Basel and exploring satellite fairs, to uncovering museum gems, floating down the Rhine, and discovering after-hours magic in the city that lives and breathes art during fair week.
